A Level Physics

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) has pioneered schools' access to advanced robotic telescope technology by allocating observing time on the LJMU Liverpool Telescope (LT). Students can now work alongside professional astronomers and experience the excitement of science at first hand.

New detecting instruments, such as spectroscopes, are to be added to the LJMU Liverpool Telescope's cluster of instruments during 2008, and these will provide unique opportunities for A level teaching.

Some A level projects can be found on the Universe Lab pages, while the Astronomy Section is continually being expanded to cover more A level topics in Physics.

Please contact the National Schools' Observatory if you have any ideas or examples of projects that could be accomplished using the Liverpool Telescope.
