NSO Software Resources

A range of educational software to support the work undertaken by pupils, as they use the NSO telescopes, has been developed by Liverpool John Moores University.

NSO registered schools can download this software directly from the website, and make copies of the software, provided it is ONLY used as a resource in support of the educational aims and objectives of the school.

Current NSO software has been designed to help students to:

• understand the structure and movement of the Liverpool Telescope (LT3D);
• model the operation of the Liverpool Telescope (LTRobot);
• display and analyse image data gathered by a modern research telecope (LTImage);
