The Virtual Liverpool Telescope

The Liverpool Telescope
A software simulation (LTRobot) has been developed so that pupils can experience controlling a robotic telescope to observe the heavens, whilst at the same time learning more about elements of control in a fun way.
Remember, though, that this software is for simulation purposes only and does not allow users to control the Liverpool Telescope !
Pupils enter commands that move the 'Virtual' Liverpool Telescope to target interesting objects in the night sky, make observations and ensure that the telescope operates within certain limits.
A workshop shows pupils how to use the LTRobot software. For convenience,
pupils can run the simulation in one window on their computer desktop and
the workshop in the other.
