A screencast is a digital recording of computer screen output (or video screen capture), together with spoken instructions, that demonstrates how to perform tasks using a particular piece of software, such as the NSO's Go Observing system. For the screencast, you have the option of watching a quick streamed version, or downloading a higher-quality MP4 file that will run on most video platforms, such as Windows Media Player or Apple Quicktime.
