A screencast is a digital recording of computer screen output (or video screen capture), together with spoken instructions, that demonstrates how to perform tasks using a particular piece of software, such as the NSO's
Go Observing system. For the screencast, you have the option of watching a quick streamed version, or downloading a higher-quality
MP4 file that will run on most video platforms, such as Windows Media Player or Apple Quicktime.
The following screencast demonstrates how users can request an observation on the Liverpool Telescope.
