Downloading Image Data - Example Data

As you start to get to know the software, you will need to download several Image Data Files. To do this, you will need to get a Username and Password from your teacher.

You will then be able to download the files by clicking on the "Download" links in the box below. When you have clicked, you will probably be asked to enter your username and password (do not worry if you are not asked). If you enter the username and password correctly, you can then continue the download and Save the file.

If you do not get the Save menu, but a screen full of strange characters, there is no need to panic! Just come back to this page, and instead of just clicking on the "Download" link, click with the right mouse button and select "Save Target As" (or sometimes "Save Link Target As") from the menu.

You should download each file and save it somewhere on your hard disk. Then, when you are using LTImage, you can 'OPEN' the file and explore the data.

Your teacher may have already downloaded all the files, so ask first!
