Liverpool Telescope image of Jupiter


Jupiter is a common sight in the night sky. A massive Gas Giant planet, it is the largest object in the Solar System other than the Sun. This picture was taken by combining several observations from the Liverpool Telescope.

Things to do with LTImage:

  • Try to find a Moon of Jupiter.
  • Use the Size and Image Properties tools in LTImage to measure the diameter of Jupiter.
