SkyWatch Competition Final

Some Finalists prepare their stand

The SkyWatch  competition final has been held in Athens.

The competition, which was supported by the NSO, attracted entries from all over Europe and even further afield. Eleven teams of finalists were flown to Athens at the end of November for the final competition and Celebration of Science event.

The finalists came from countries as far apart as Siberia and Israel, including several NSO members, and were shown some of the sights of Athens as well as taking home prizes that included their own telescopes!
