The Liverpool Telescope preparing to observe
Now that the telescope has reached First Light, it goes through a stage called Commissioning. This is where any minor problems with the camera or telescope are found and solved by doing many tests and more observations.
At the end of commissioning, the telescope will be able to take
even better images, and will be ready for
both scientists and registered schools to
make their own observations and get working on some exciting science!
