NSO exhibiting at the ASE Conference in Birmingham : 9-11th January
Once again, the NSO will be hosting a stand in the exhibition tent of the Association of Science Education (ASE) annual conference, which is being held at the University of Birmingham from the 9th to 11th January 2014.
In previous years, we have had several NSO staff on hand to answer questions about the NSO and to try and encourage more teachers to make use of our free resources. For the first time, however, we will also be running a series of mini-workshops (for 6-8 people) on our stand for the duration of the exhibition, with a variety of topics being covered, including image processing, asteroid detection, lunar analysis, 3-colour imaging and GCSE practical advice sessions to name a few. You can find more details of the mini-workshop schedule HERE.
If you are planning on attending the conference, then please visit the stand for a chat (we can be found at stand CS31), or come and join us for one of the mini-workshops.
