With the registration of John Cleveland College in Hinckley on the 23rd March 2009, there are now 1,000 schools actively registered with the National Schools' Observatory. Thanks to the generous support of Liverpool John Moore's University, we are now able to provide a window on the Universe to 10's, if not 100's of thousands of students throughout the UK and Ireland.

With over 800 pages of news, information, workshops, animations and projects, we aim to harness the excitement shown towards astronomy in the UK by providing an inspirational and mind-expanding experience for those that choose to join us. With that in mind, we would urge users to tell us how we can continue to provide content that addresses the needs of your learning environment.
