Star Birth Simulation
A cloud of dust and gas larger than the entire Solar System.
The cloud collapses because of gravity. The center starts to heat up.
The centre shrinks fast and becomes very hot and dense. The cloud will start to spin a little as it collapses, forming a disk.
Eventually, nuclear fusion starts in the hot, dense part. This is the actual birth of the star.
The light, heat and particles produced by the new star blows away most of the rest of the cloud.
Eventually, the star is left alone to slowly use up all of its nuclear fuel before dying.
