NSO Website Resources

This website has been developed by Liverpool John Moores University to enable UK and Irish schools to access world-class astronomical telescopes.

The website contains a wealth of information about telescopes and the world of astronomy.

From this website, UK schools can access the world-class robotic Liverpool Telescope with which to explore the universe.

The main sections are:

• News - for news from the NSO and the world of astronomy
• Observing - the portal for requesting observations from the telescope
• Astronomy - the NSO's very own electronic library
• Registration - school's need to register before they can use the telescope - but it's free!
• Staffroom - teaching resources to help deliver science, maths and IT lessons
