Spinning Earth

This means that all the people living on the Earth will see both night and day during those 24 hours.

It is daytime on the side facing the Sun, and night on the side facing away.

This spinning motion also means that to someone on Earth, the Sun (and stars) will appear to move across the sky as time goes by. But remember that this is due to the Earth spinning rather than the Sun moving.
