Description :

The Tides Workshop is a self-contained Keystage 4 and 5 workshop, where students can use an interactive simulator to investigate how the orbital relationship between the Earth, Sun and Moon drives huge movements or flows within the Earth's oceans; otherwise known as the tides. During the workshop, students can make their own measurements, and use the results to identify periodic changes in the tidal action. The workshop combines elements of ITC, Physics and Maths into an informative hour of discovery.

Age Range : 14 - 19 years
