Description :

This is a self-contained Keystage 4 and 5 workshop where students will investigate observed activity on the surface of the Sun. Students will gain an insight into the physical and magnetic structure of the Sun, and how this effects any solar activity. They will also work with sunspot data to determine whether any patterns exist within observations of solar activity, and whether future predictions on such activity can be made.
